1. Process Understanding

To create a bootable USB drive, I first downloaded the operating system file and a bootable USB software like Rufus. Then I inserted the USB drive into the computer and opened the software. I selected the USB drive and the ISO file of the operating system. After that, I clicked the start button to begin creating the bootable USB. I waited until the process finished and safely removed the USB drive. I ensured it was ready for installation by checking if the process completed successfully and by testing it in the BIOS boot menu.

2. Problem-Solving

During the installation process, I encountered some problems like the computer not detecting the USB drive. To fix this, I checked the BIOS settings and changed the boot priority so the USB drive would load first. I also made sure the USB was properly inserted and the bootable file was correctly created. After adjusting the settings, the installation started successfully.

3. Application & Improvement

The skills I learned from creating a bootable USB and installing a computer system are useful in real-life situations, such as fixing computers, installing operating systems, and helping others repair their devices. Next time, I would prepare all the files and tools before starting the process to save time and avoid mistakes. I would also double-check the BIOS settings and USB format to make the installation faster and more efficient.
